Crimble travels

Finished work early today, although the company has a very strange idea about half days – you can claim a whole day, provided that you don’t leave until two o’clock. What on earth is wrong with closing at half-twelve or one, instead of making people come back after lunch? Heavy parenting, if ever there was.
Her Maj and I are off on our travels tomorrow; Christmas in Somerset and New Year in Ireland. Apologies if it goes a bit quiet here at The Grannary for a few days, but not much difference from recent posting activity. I think I spend too much time procrastinating … but haven’t made up my mind when I’ll be able come to a conclusion about that.

Pat, I see you have removed the Original Bondbloke from your blogroll, inserted the Rantorium (BB’s new place), and left Bondbloke Alternative (now defunct) from your blogroll. Can I plead for a removal of the third of these, and the restoration of the first. Don’t really care about the middle one…Ta.

Thanks for all your new year greetings – there’s a very nice custom in this part of the world of shaking people by the hand when wishing them a “good” new year. There’s not enough human contact day-to-day (apart from the legitimate stuff at home with herself) and I think we’re all better for it.
Apologies, BW, now corrected. Not deliberate, just at home to Captain Cockup, as usual!

    Thanks, Pat.
