A posy of wild flowers

Out for a stretch of the legs this afternoon – after all, it’s the vocal chords that are wonky, not the pins – and came across this delightful clump of coltsfoot:

Coltsfoot

By the way, this was the area where I found the coltsfoot growing by the track:

Beautiful flowers, beautiful scenery, I just can’t wait to return to your most enchanting part of Scotland…

Numptie – glad you like them. Say hi when you’re next in Argyll; pick a number and use a square root to contact me off-blog.

For someone with vocal chord problems, how fortuitous that you came upon some coltsfoot. Just the ticket for a cough. I hope you took some home.

Hi Jude, I could see that you were floating around the site. Sorry it’s been very unresponsive – Blogger must be popular in the States at the moment. Vocal chords recovered in the nick of time, but not full vocal range or quality. Still, hope they’re on song for the choral concerts weekend after next.
