The geograph game

I’ve mentioned Geograph before on this blog; it’s a website where you can score points by being the first to submit a photograph of a geographical feature within a particular 1km grid square. PTC has been going through the archives of digital toggies and scoring a few points of his own as a consequence. Saturday being wet, windy and miserable outdoors, this was a good day to do some research on the local area, fill in a few gaps with more pictures and identify local grid squares for a Sunday expedition to score more. There’s a competitive streak in the man somewhere, and the strangest things bring it out. Anyway, it’s a lot of fun, try it for yourself.
