And the sun sets over the hill …

One of the downsides of this particular village is that it lies in a glen so that sunrise and sunset are always somewhere “over there”. As Her Maj went out to put the chooks and geese away this evening, she saw the glorious colours in the sky and clouds and called me out to take a picture or two, a request in which I gladly indulged her. It’s a little frustrating to imagine just how spectacular the sunset would have been from the top of the hill, looking out over the sea and the islands; still, I shall have to start keeping an eye out for propitious early evening weather conditions and be prepared to leap upwards when it seems favourable for a repeat.
