Attentive readers may recall that I put the white cockerel against his will in with the other chooks last night. Tonight, when I got home, I found him hiding in one of the pens in the geese’s pen. Again, I hoisted him over into the pen with the other chooks. I wonder how long he’ll take to get the message? Usual aerial squadron of chooks in the tree tonight. One of the yellow chooks is always up there, as are two of the black chooks. Rewarded with another egg, making four in eight days – is there a pattern emerging? Cooked up a load of finely-chopped skanky old veg for the chooks tonight, which will be their Tuesday treat.
Geese all content to be closed up in their pen.
